Calumny

One of the problems with public discourse

is that we have horrible role models.

In this presentation, Laura Ingraham referred to the President as “corrupt” at least a dozen times.

This is unacceptable.

Know for certain that I don’t approve of such calumny against the other side, either.

If someone were to consistently refer to Donald Trump as a “serial carjacker” or Ron DeSantis as a “child molester,” I would soon ask, “What car did he ever jack?  What child did he molest?”

Accusations without substance, evidence or facts to back them up serve no useful purpose.

Mehdi Hasan is no better.
