Friday 2014-09-26.  No one is asking about “backgrounds” any more.  This is a great step forward for thousands of men like me, since employers aren’t in a position to exclude applicants just on this one basis.

From my diary:

In recent days I’ve been concerned about poor posture, head-forward posture.  I recall that in the past, when I’ve been highly ambitious, I used to stand up straight.  In the supper line last night, I wondered what I can be proud of.  I deserve to be proud of my JS efforts this month.  (I also deserve to be proud of my garden weeding.)  But I don’t feel it.
