The price of Trump’s narcissism
Scott Quiner was unvaccinated. He tested positive for COVID in October 2021. On November 6, 2021, he was admitted to intensive care. On January 21, 2021, he died.

One need not do a detailed analysis of all Donald Trump’s expressions about COVID, before one can summarize his posture. He was dismissive.
From an October 24, 2020 report on a rally in Lumberton, NC:
“They prolonged the pandemic,” [Trump] said, and turned to the saturation of Covid news. “That’s all I hear about now, it’s all I hear.”
“Turn on television, right. Covid, Covid. Covid, Covid, Covid. Covid,” he said. “A plane goes down, 500 people dead, they don’t talk about it. Covid Covid Covid Covid.”
“By the way on November fourth you won’t hear about it anymore,” he said as the crowd cheered.
President Donald Trump on Monday said, without evidence, that recent spikes in COVID-19 cases throughout the U.S. are a “fake news media conspiracy” and that reporting on them amounts to pre-election politics.
“Cases up because we TEST, TEST, TEST. A Fake News Media Conspiracy,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Many young people who heal very fast. 99.9%. Corrupt Media conspiracy at all time high. On November 4th., topic will totally change. VOTE!”

That was October 2020. This is February 2022, and Scott Quiner is dead.
Donald Trump totally thought a worldwide plague was all about him.
He is not, never was, and never will be, fit to serve as President.
